Karlo Mila

Karlo Mila is of Tongan, Samoan and Palagi descent. She was born in Rotorua, raised in Palmerston North, and lives in Auckland with her husband, David, and two children, Karlos and Nikolas. She is studying for a PhD in Sociology. In 2005 she published her first collection of poetry, Dream Fish Floating (Wellington: Huia). In 2008 she produced A Well Written Body, a combination of text and image.
