INDEX OF ELIZABETH RIDDELL, POEMS 1921-1940

Marcia Russell

Note:   Forty five of the Bettie Riddell poems published in the Bulletin are identified  by Theresia Liemlienio Marshall, in ‘New Zealand Literature in the Sydney Bulletin, 1880-1930,’ (unpublished doctoral thesis, University of Auckland 1995). Five of the Bettie Riddell Sun poems are noted by F. W. Nielsen Wright, in An Account of the Aotearoa Poet Betty or Bettie Riddell, 1910-1998, with Examples of Her Poetry (Wellington: Cultural and Political Booklets, 1998). Two Bettie Riddell Poems from Kowhai Gold (1930) and The Untrammelled, as a single poem edition, (1940) are on the record. All other poems identified through Marcia Russell’s research.
