Jen Crawford is a New Zealand poet who lives in Singapore and teaches at Nanyang Technological University. Her previous homes include Auckland, Wollongong and Sydney. Her poetry publications include Napoleon Swings (Soapbox, 2009), Bad Appendix (Titus, 2008) and Admissions (Five Islands, 2000). Her chapbook Pop Riveter was published by Pania Press in June 2011. In April 2009 Jen returned her Tapa Notebook after an extended stay in London the previous year. She read and talked about selections from the notebook with students of Poetry off the Page, discussing her Tapa Notebook practice in relation to that of American poet Rachel Blau DuPlessis, whose notebook was also taken to Special Collections by the class that day.
