Te Rau Aroha Marae, Bluff, 21 April 2006

First cycle:
Karanga mai,
karanga mai,

Karanga mai ki ngā kaituhituhi kōrero o Aotearoa kua tatū mai nei.
Karanga mai,
karanga mai rā.

Second cycle:
Karanga mai ki a mātou ngā waewae tapu kua tae mai nei ki tēnei marae o Te Rau Aroha.
Karanga mai e te iwi kāinga i runga i te kaupapa o te rā.

Karanga mai rā.

Translation
First cycle:
Call to us,
call to us,
O call to us.
Call to us who are from the four winds.
Call to us the New Zealand writers who have arrived here.
Call to us,
O call to us.

Second cycle:
Call to us who are arriving here for the first time to Te Rau Aroha marae.
Call to us, o local people, according to the purpose of the day.
Call to us,
O call to us.
