couscous and barbecued vegetables

I am quoting laughter and factories and cold blue air
to counteract the softness
am I a cook?
lounging perfectly still
we let the fragments add up
racing and roaring through history
like shining poems fishing out the riding bubbles
you are never stagnant lightened by rise and fall
