pressing at a shirt front travelling
             light across his small untimely
movements skin at the wrists
and the pockets curved elbows
in the classic exposed position
borrowed short for long-term
commitments.. a start out at the carpark
no slouch too convex for me
             too airy, lanteen,
figure tilting forwards over
the Mason-Dixon line now in the breezy
      time he silently comes.. so
Life magazine the look of his face
frank surface at a coat flap
