he narrates! Sometimes
bending down- imploring that what he sees
in the Ralph Steadman ink drawing off Zimmy
in Rolling Stone nos. 307/308 should suffer
unobserved Willy to be other than he is, reechey,
a shitter in the nest.. Other times Willy gazes
spelled, homo faber, image of his feet akimbo
plotting the next cast, setting a net to catch a tiger,
teeth chittering, dreaming 'in your valley
I'm a lone horseman' (erotic) / post-literary
but trying the next line, keeping the frost off
the tomatoes. Willy forms his spire..
He commemorates, re-examines, as the sun in the gap
sets gold and shadows stalking.. remember
