                                       amid this goonery
I should mention it more often:

                                It should be a slow process
fitting into this new place
(I’m astounded still that I seem to regret nothing)

                              this tribe are
theatre types,
a genus I find a bit alien
                                 though I loved it
(theatre) in youth, went to La Mama weekly, almost
(though terrified of the new theatre types
who would crawl towards you across the floor
